Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, andouille sausage, onion, bell pepper, garlic, smoked paprika, thyme, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 to 6 portions and shape them into burger patties, making sure that the patties are slightly larger than the buns.
  3. Heat a grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat. When hot, add the burger patties and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the sauces and cheese combinations.
  5. For the Buffalo Sauce and Blue Cheese: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the hot sauce, honey, garlic powder, and salt to the melted butter. Stir well to combine. Increase the heat to medium and cook the sauce for 5 to 7 minutes, or until it thickens slightly. Remove the sauce from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes. Stir in the crumbled blue cheese.
  6. For the Ranch Sauce and Pepper Jack Cheese: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, parsley, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated. Taste the ranch sauce and adjust the seasoning as needed. Spread the ranch sauce on the hamburger buns and top with a slice of pepper jack cheese.
  7. For the Aioli Sauce and Brie Cheese: Spread the aioli sauce on the hamburger buns and top with a slice of brie cheese.
  8. Assemble the burgers by placing a cooked andouille sausage patty on each bun. Add lettuce and tomato, if desired. Top each burger with one of the sauce and cheese combinations.
  9. Serve and enjoy your delicious andouille sausage burgers with three different sauce/cheese combinations!
